EDUCATIONAL POSTER
This educational poster design visually guides viewers through the step-by-step process of creating a stained glass pendant inspired by the Bauhaus style, blending artistic craftsmanship with modern design principles. Using my graphic design skills, I developed a clear and constant layout that combines instructional clarity with bold geometric compositions and a vibrant Bauhaus-inspired color palette. Each section highlights a stage of the stained glass process—from sketching and cutting to grinding, foiling, and soldering—paired with concise instructions and visual aids. The result is an informative and aesthetically cohesive design that not only teaches a hands-on creative technique but also celebrates the Bauhaus philosophy of unity between art, design, and function.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Through the lens of my camera, I have captured the breathtaking stained glass windows of the Washington National Cathedral, a monumental and visual testament to political and social storytelling through glass. From a stained glass instructor’s perspective, I view each piece as a unique, intricate puzzle crafted through years of dedication and technical mastery. Not just from the technical point of view, I deeply appreciate the political narrative power of the National Cathedral windows, fueling my desire to share my own background story through this transformative medium. This photography project allowed me not just to document the windows but also to see how these inspirational images have shaped and rooted my artistic journey toward delivering my message.
TYPOGRAPHY
This Typography design, titled “Elevate Your Space With Timeless Stained Glass,” is inspired by the design principles of Frank Lloyd Wright. Drawing from the signature geometric harmony and organic integration of color and form, the piece celebrates the intersection of structure and artistry as a poster design. Each letter is crafted in Adobe Illustrator to echo the balance and rhythm found in stained glass design—where light, line, and color work together to create visual poetry. This work is both a tribute to Wright’s enduring influence and a modern interpretation of his belief that art and architecture should uplift and transform the spaces we inhabit
